This is my first post since the last a month or two ago. Ironically, I didn't update anything while I was at home, but instead, I spend my first night in Krabi to finally, write something.
Its my first solo travel, I have to say its really, really, really... filled with mixed feelings. For firstly, I never knew what to expect or how fast or slow the journey should be. I don't know the language well (the words I know are really important words, but can't really help me survive on the streets). But as I walked and walked and walked searching for nothing, I finally stopped at this part of the beach nearing to Rai Lay where this lady offered me a seat by the beach. She said it's free and its ok, as she came over to chat up with me and she left and gave me a slice of pineapple (maybe its because I told her I came alone haha). I just sat and enjoyed the breeze, for an hour or more! I've never been a solo traveller so I really don't know what to expect in this trip, it was a little liberating, but also depressing at the same time.
Travelling to Krabi can be quite a brisk if you have an idea what to do. Basically everything is by the doorstep, and before you make any decisions, make sure you read about it or ask someone about it first. There's nothing worst than feeling like you've been cheated, but remember, its not about being cheated, but about giving more than you are happy to. Budget lodging ranges from RM30-RM50 while nicer hotels would probably cost you RM120-RM150. Food is pretty much KL standard, but the problem is you'll find many restaurants than food peddlers at Ao Nang, the beach town. Its a tourist area afterall.
The things you'll have to do here is to visit the islands cause the beach is pretty much very normal, the only attractions will be beyond the seaside. There will be many tourist centres offering different prices for different tours but just be aware of the cheap ones.

For me, its always like accidents. It just comes and hit me, and things just get started from there. In my relationships, all of them are by chances, never by choice. That's they beauty of it, you'll never know if its the right one or not, all you could do is tell which is your favourite accident.
