Memories

We'll say goodbye to time
and all those crazy things
we have to leave behind
standing on the trees
we used to climb
and watch the rest of days go by

It is these memories
that kept me waiting here
to contemplate my life
where we used to run
and hide our secrets in the closets
we left behind

And its those good old days
that we live our dreams and hope
but the nights have come
leaving us to see that we are not strong
enough to live alone
I said goodbye

And we'll go home again
but so far so long
If we make it on our own
walking on the pathways
driven by the memories
long gone before
